STX PUTTERS RECOGNIZED AS TOP PUTTER ON PGA TOUR

BALTIMORE, MD. (March 16, 2006) — STX Putters, world-renowned for their patented Face Insert Technology, announced today that the Darrell Survey conducted a putter survey on the PGA Tour and STX Putters are amongst the top.

The Darrell Survey recognized as the Golf Industry's leading independent and impartial equipment reporting company on the PGA, LPGA, Senior, Nike, and Japanese PGA Tours conducted a Tour related putter survey. It concluded that putters made by putter-only companies, those who do not manufacturer any other golf equipment, are used by about 10% of Tour pros and of those Tour pros STX Putters is ranked third.

STX Putters Director of Sales Greg Fudges stated, "STX Putters have been used for years on the PGA Tour and these Touring Professionals play our putters because they perform and our putters have to. We are one of the only putter companies out on Tour that don't pay these Professionals to play our putters. They put STX Putters into play because they can rely on the STX elastomeric face which helps them control the ball's direction and speed."

In the past month, STX Putters have garnered three top-10 finishes, three weeks in a row. This considerable accomplishment was achieved by a notable PGA Tour player who relied heavily on STX' signature Sync 3 to navigate some of the toughest courses on the PGA Tour, Riviera, Pebble Beach and La Costa. And, not only did it move him upward on the money list he reached the top-20 on the U.S. Ryder Cup point list.

"STX Putters use the PGA Tour to validate our putter's performance. Our success can be contributed to our innovative products but we also have a proficient PGA Tour Representative Mike Neal who works diligently weekly. His ability to fit, understand, and work with these pros is uncanny," adds Fudge.

The most recognized STX Putter on the PGA Tour is the Sync 3. Its unique bullet like center rear weighted design is complimented by its bowtie shaped face. This respected putter earned well over 2.5 million dollars in PGA Tour earnings. STX Putters credit this success to the DuPont elastomeric inserts. They cradle the ball during contact, resulting in more dwell time and less skidding.

"This Darrell Survey information published by Sports Illustrated was important. Most consumers play putters that are manufactured by golf equipment companies that have huge advertising budgets that typically don't concentrate on putters, they're rather an extension to their full line up of products. STX Putters and those putter companies listed in the Darrell Survey specialize in putters. We're a small group of companies that actual help golfers putt better. That is what our designers and engineers focus on. We applaud Sports Illustrated for acknowledging small but innovative companies. Every week their editors write about people and products that excel and yet don't own the majority of the market. Kudos," add Fudge.

The highly praised Sync 3 is one of the four Sync models available. The Sync series also includes, the Sync Tour Pro which weighting system resembles the Sync 3, the Sync Tour Mallet, and for the traditionalist, the Sync 9740. All are available in right or left handed models and are available in three different insert faces. STX also can customize lengths according to each players needs.

STX Putters take Face Insert Technology to a new level with its variety of inserts that elicit a remarkable feel under any condition for greater accuracy, consistency and confidence. That eliminates the fear of off center miss-hits because the ball consistently rolls true to the hole.

STX Putters are world-renowned for their patented Face Insert Technology, which forever changed the face of golf. STX is dedicated to advancing the art of putting, creatively combining form and function. Master the Greens with STX Putters!
