STX GOLF ADDS TWO PUTTERS TO POPULAR GREENY SERIES
The Greeny VII and Greeny VIII to debut at 2002 PGA Merchandise Show

Baltimore, MD - January 9, 2002 - STX Golf, the golf industry's foremost authority on insert technology, today announced the expansion of the Greeny Series. The two new Greeny Putters, the Greeny VII and Greeny VIII will be introduced at the 2002 PGA Merchandise Show in Orlando, Florida.

According to STX Golf's General Manager, Jim Rodgers, "The new Greeny VII and VIII builds upon the remarkable feedback of the original series. What distinguishes them from their predecessors is the way that Mr. Engman has treated the center-shafted hosel feature."

Both the Greeny VII and Greeny VIII are finely designed by STX Master designer, Robert Engman, a world renowned sculptor who combines his two passions in life - art and golf. Engman's sculptures are included in the collections of the Hirshorn Museum, the Museum of Modern Art, the Whitney Museum, and other world-class museums and private collections. A two-time Senior champion at Merion Country Club, Engman's putter designs are a natural extension of his artistic mastery and strong knowledge of the game of golf.

Engman's classically styled Greeny VII is designed with a unique cavity-back flange head. The stylish stainless head features a strategically positioned, straight, short, and center-shafted hosel for precise balance. A 19 degree lie and 3 degree loft ensures precision putting. This timeless classic is available in custom lengths that vary from 32" through 36". The Greeny VII will begin shipping in Spring of 2002 and will retail for approximately $149.00.

For the mallet traditionalists, the Greeny VIII marks a new level of Engman's excellence. His ability to sculpt can be seen in the curves of the Greeny VIII's stainless head. A 19 degree lie and 3 degree loft are combined with an exactly positioned center-shafted hosel for ultimate balance. Again, varying shaft lengths range from 32" through 36". This solid feeling mallet will begin shipping in Spring of 2002 and will also retail for approximately $149.00.

Both the Greeny VII and VIII feature STX Golf's new state of the art - Greeny Texin polyurethane insert. This highly developed elastomer has been developed for ideal roll characteristics. Ranked among the world's best golfers, Scott McCarron has won several PGA Tour events with the remarkable Greeny Texin insert.
